FromSoftware is famous for its Souls games. They developed the Dark Souls series, the Playstation exclusive Bloodborne, and the hit game Elden Ring. But the team also releases projects in other genres, in particular, the action game Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon was released last year.
After releasing major DLC for Elden Ring earlier this year, there’s no word on what the studio is currently working on. It was clear from the job postings that there were several projects in development, and this has now been confirmed by Hidetaka Miyazaki. Speaking to reporters at the Playstation Partner Awards, he answered the question “What will be your next job?” as follows:
I can’t answer your question now. But there are many projects in different genres. Some of these games are made by me and others are made by someone other than me, so I think we’ll be able to showcase FromSoftware from different angles. Please look forward to new items.
Let’s remember that in the last few weeks there have been rumors that FromSoftware could become part of Playstation.
