Yakut developer Nikolai Tarkovsky, who under the pseudonym MonsterAttack released the action game “Uraankhaidar vs. Alaa-Mogus” and the horror game “Satteekh,” announced a relaxing simulator Panelka in a post-Soviet setting.
Panelka will offer to furnish a post-Soviet apartment (with a classic layout – from “Khrushchev” to “panelek”) or a garage with furniture and items from the late 80s and early 90s. The announcement trailer for the game is attached below.
Users will have access to a large assortment of Soviet and post-Soviet furniture, paintings, posters and various interior items, and will also receive “huge selection” linoleum, wallpaper and wall paints.
Gamers will be able to place furniture without restrictions and easily move items to any location. According to Tarkovsky, in this regard, Panelka is similar to the meditative castle-building game Tiny Glade.
The developer promises a return “in the warm times of childhood and youth”, “tube atmosphere of the 90s”unique combinations of items and photo mode. The game will receive support for 14 languages, including Russian.
“The game gives you the opportunity to explore the details of the past, return to bygone memories and re-experience the joy and carefreeness of those years, creating your own creative space”says the developer.
The release of Panelka has so far been confirmed only for the Steam platform. The release dates have not been specified at this stage, but you won’t have to wait long for the premiere. According to Tarkovsky, the game will be released already “very soon”.
