Publisher Knights Peak with developers from 3D Realms and Slipgate Ironworks at the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted 2024 announced the exact release date of the old-school strategy Tempest Rising in the spirit of Command & Conquer.

Let us remember that Tempest Rising was presented in the summer of 2022 and was initially expected to be released during 2023, but development was delayed. Until recently, the game was planned to be released in 2024.
As it became known, Tempest Rising will go on sale only on April 24, 2025 exclusively for PC (Steam). The announcement was accompanied by a minute-long gameplay trailer (attached below).
Users in the comments to the video do not hide their enthusiasm for the upcoming release and draw parallels with Command & Conquer. “Kane would be proud”says Summon333 with tears in his eyes.
Tempest Rising takes place on a conflict-torn Earth after a nuclear war. Players will take on the role of commander of various factions in a desperate struggle for power and resources.
Tempest Rising will feature two story campaigns of 11 missions each, inspired by classic 90s and 2000s strategy games, base-building gameplay and skirmish multiplayer.
They promise three unique asymmetric factions (two will be available at release), videos between missions, fast and dynamic battles, selection of players using the Gliko-2 rating system and text translation into Russian.
