Developers from Epic Games continue to develop Fortnite not only in the Battle Royale format, but also in other genres. Today they announced Fortnite Ballistic, a standalone mode (essentially a standalone game) based on Fortnite that will be available in Early Access on December 11th.
The main details that have now been told about him:
- Battles in this mode will take place from the first person.
- The shooter is designed for a 5v5 format.
- It is stated that there will be regular and ranked match options.
- In this mode, “smart strategy, well-coordinated teamwork and skill are important.”
- There is no construction at all.
- The mode supports outfits, back blings, shoes, sprays, and emotes already in Fortnite. But transport, air trails and some other elements are not supported, since they simply do not exist in this mode.
- Early Access will include one Skyline 10 map, a starter set of weapons, and a limited number of items. Later they plan to develop the mode together with the players.
