According to online sources, the Federal Tax Service Inspectorate No. 22 filed a claim against Voskhod LLC, which is the legal entity of the online store Player.ru, in the amount of 9.8 billion rubles. The corresponding application was registered in the file of arbitration cases on November 28, but the court has not yet accepted it for consideration.
Let us remind you that one of the oldest Russian online electronics stores, Player.ru, stopped working at the end of September, citing technical reasons. Already in October, the store’s partners and contractors began filing claims to collect debt under contracts. According to the source, more than 30 such claims were filed for a total amount of about 330 million rubles. The largest claim for 224 million rubles was filed by Sberbank. The next hearing in this case is scheduled to take place on January 20.
The revenue of Voskhod LLC in 2023 amounted to 3 billion rubles with a net profit of 68 million rubles. Earlier, the founder of Player.ru, Alexey Konyshev, stated in a conversation with journalists that the work of the site was stopped “due to lack of procurement funds for goods” He also wanted to sell the company “interested person» for 2 billion rubles, but in September the supplier demanded urgent payment of the debt and invited police officers to the deal, which is why the deal fell through.
Konyshev also planned to turn his store into a marketplace: in August of this year, he sent out a presentation to potential partners. After the closure of Player.ru, an announcement appeared on the website about the resumption of the store in the marketplace format. Later it was reported that this could happen in November, but at the moment Player.ru has not resumed work.
A lawyer for one of the suppliers reported that Player.ru stopped transferring money under the contract in August of this year. He considers the chances of repaying the debt to be minimal and assumes that the store will face bankruptcy.
