Obsidian Studios is preparing to release a new role-playing game Avowed, which will be released on February 18 on Xbox Series X | S and PC. The developers have repeatedly said in interviews that the game will allow each player to “play their own hero”, will have several endings and will delight you with freedom of action and decisions.
As part of a new interview, Avowed location designer Berto Ritger said that almost every quest in the game can be started in different ways:
I think almost every, if not every, quest in the game has more than one way to start it. You can do things out of order, pick up items and give them to those who want them, or kill characters or whatever. You can do things in quests out of order. For example, you can come into a dungeon or, on the contrary, come out of it on the other side, that is, not in the way that was originally intended. And we want you to be able to do this simply based on how you naturally move through the world.
Previously, Obsdian showed gameplay in the third-person game Avowed, and there were also previews of the RPG from journalists.
Avowed will become part of Game Pass immediately after release.
