Gaming insider eXtas1stv, who has repeatedly reported accurate information from the Xbox camp (primarily about games for Game Pass), said in a new video that the planned release window for South of Midnight is March 2025. According to him, Xbox Game Studios is preparing a trailer for The Game Awards 2024, where they will announce the release date of the game.
Note that previously there were rumors about a possible release of South of Midnight in April 2025.
In early previews, critics praised South of Midnight’s graphic style, atmosphere, and story, but noted that the project doesn’t offer anything outstanding in terms of gameplay.
