The Game Awards 2024 will take place this week. Every year, major new products are announced at the event and new trailers for previously presented games are shown. This year the broadcast will be an anniversary, and journalists previously said that players should expect big surprises.
Show host Geoff Kiely presented a hype trailer for the event. It included footage from more than a dozen games and several TV series. Including, in the trailer you can see moments from Grand Theft Auto 6.
Note that the appearance of footage of Grand Theft Auto 6 in The Game Awards 2024 trailer does not mean that the game will necessarily receive a new demonstration at the event. The Rockstar project is one of the award nominees – it is fighting for the title of “Most Anticipated Game of 2025.” But earlier there were rumors that a new trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 could be shown at The Game Awards.
In addition to the expected Rockstar game, the trailer featured Black Myth: Wukong, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Fortnite and many other projects.
