As promised, on December 9, after three days of extended access for buyers of the premium edition, the official release of the action-adventure Indiana Jones and the Great Circle from the studio MachineGames (the latest Wolfenstein) took place.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is released on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X and S. The game costs $70, but is also available in Game Pass. The project is not for sale in Russia. Release on PS5 is expected in spring 2025.
On the eve of the official release, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle received its first patch. The update brought with it the promised support for path tracing (you need at least 12 GB of video memory to run) and a number of fixes.
In anticipation of its release, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle earned 87 out of 100% on the review aggregator website Metacritic – the game’s ratings were on par with Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, MachineGames’ highest-rated project.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has received “very positive” reviews from Steam users – of the more than 2 thousand reviews the game has received since its launch, 92% have been positive.
Following the release, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle set a new personal peak online record on Steam – 8.1 thousand people. This is lower than The New Colossus and The New Order, but the game’s performance may have been affected by its availability on Game Pass.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle offers a journey around the world with a spirit of adventure, a combination of linear and open episodes, text translation into Russian and no Denuvo.
