The philosophical puzzle The Talos Principle from the creators of Serious Sam from the Croatian studio Croteam will soon turn ten years old, and the publishing house Devolver Digital decided to celebrate the upcoming anniversary by announcing a remaster.

The Talos Principle: Reawakened is positioned as “radically redesigned awakening” The Talos Principle is an expanded remaster of the game in Unreal Engine 5. An announcement trailer is attached.
In addition to modernized graphics, users of The Talos Principle: Reawakened will find new puzzles, an additional story chapter about the complexities of creating the In the Beginning simulation, and the Road to Gehenna addon included.
The simulation world already familiar to fans has become even more realistic and colorful thanks to advanced lighting, detailed textures and redesigned environment design, and the gameplay has been improved “taking into account the spirit of the original game”.
The Talos Principle: Reawakened will also include a developer commentary mode and a full-fledged puzzle editor that will allow you to create your own unique worlds and challenges.
Devolver promises a return to “an incredibly beautiful world of intriguing mysteries and philosophical reflections”and a puzzle that “will definitely appeal to new players and fans alike”.
The release of The Talos Principle: Reawakened is expected in early 2025 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S. Only a text translation into Russian is announced for the remaster, although the original game also had voice acting.
