Developers from the Russian 1C Game Studios announced the release of the release version of their shareware multiplayer tactical third-person team shooter “Caliber”.

Let us remember that since October 2019, open beta testing of “Caliber” has been going on on PCs – at first the game was available only through the official website, and in 2023 Steam and VK Play joined the list of target platforms.
The release of update 1.0 for Caliber took place today, December 11, 2024. The long-awaited premiere of the game was accompanied by a one and a half minute gameplay trailer (the video is attached below).
For the full release of “Caliber” the developers have prepared “one of the largest updates in the history of the game” (large caliber, so to speak). Main changes:
- Turkish collection of operatives from the elite special forces unit PÖH (Polis Özel Harekât) – awarded for completing the “Great Conquests” battle pass;
- customization of weapons and the ability to change them for operatives (this is the first time in the game);
- a new mission on the “Depot” map – PMC “Azimut” intercepted a cargo with samples of the latest military equipment;
- New Year’s event “Gift Hunt” and a themed mode with snowball fights;
- changing the color palette on all maps – according to the developers’ idea, it should become more saturated and bright;
- the ability to track detailed statistics for each operative;
- improving the referral program (details).
Version 1.0 includes many other smaller improvements and fixes. You can view the full list of changes in a separate publication on the official Caliber website.
Those who log into the game before the end of 2024 are promised a special gift in the “Special Offers” section
The Caliber developers call the full release of the game not only a platform for new gaming opportunities, but also the next stage in the development of the project – the team will not stop at version 1.0.
It is reported that throughout 2025, the 1C Game Studios team plans to increase the number of activities and events, as well as continue the development of the clan system and weapon customization.
