Several well-known gaming journalists have already promised that this year’s The Game Awards show will be truly grandiose. Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier discussed what will be seen at this year’s event on the Kinda Funny Games podcast. According to him, some of the games that are planned to be shown are indeed “mind-blowing”.
Schreier said he couldn’t say much for fear of getting himself into trouble. At the same time, he knows about “a couple of announcements that can definitely be considered major”. These announcements, as the journalist said, will be in teaser format, since the release of the games is still many years away – they could come out in 2026 or even later. From Schreyer’s words we can conclude that we are talking specifically about games that have not previously been presented.
Separately, Jason Schreier emphasized that “at least two games” will make the Kinda Funny team not believe their eyes when they see these projects. In comments on Reddit, players suggested that we are talking about Hollow Knight: Silksong and the announcement from Playstation Studios, since the podcast hosts are fans of Sony exclusives.
The Game Awards broadcast will begin from December 12 to 13 at 03:30 Moscow time.
