Well-known gaming insider Shpeshal Nick has been repeating his 2022 information for several years now: a collection of Gears of War remasters is in development. Many other journalists said that they had not heard anything about this, but Shpeshal Nick continues to insist on his own. He talked about it in 2022, then in 2023, and also at the beginning of this year.
Today, on his social networks, Shpeshal Nick again informed readers that Gears of War remasters are being developed. One of the players asked him about the status of the project, and the insider said that “I literally checked the information today” and found out that the collection is still in development.
Further Shpeshal Nick admitted that “Fucked up by revealing this information too early”. He did not provide other details about the development of remasters.
Let us remind you that the first part of Gears of War has a remaster, which was released in 2015. The rest of the games in the series work on the current generation of consoles with backward compatibility.
