Developers from Milestone have announced the game Screamer for Xbox Series X | S, Playstation 5 and PC. It will be released in 2026, and it is an action racing game that is a reimagining of the 1995 project.
In the announcement, the Milestone team noted that they used 30 years of experience in creating racing games to create a title that once influenced the genre thanks to its outstanding combat mechanics. The new version of Screamer combines fast-paced racing action with a deep storyline and well-developed character stories.
Screamer’s plot combines stories of human will, revenge, love and greed with classic science fiction tropes. Players will experience the story through the eyes of different characters who participate in a street racing tournament organized by a mysterious figure.
