Publisher Square Enix, as part of The Game Awards 2024 ceremony, announced the PC version of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the second (out of three) episode of the remake of the cult Japanese role-playing game Final Fantasy VII.

As a reminder, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth debuted on February 29, 2024 on PS5. The first part – Final Fantasy VII Remake – had to wait on PC for a little less than two years, and the exclusivity period for the second was noticeably shorter.
As it became known, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will go on sale for Steam and Epic Games Store on January 23, 2025. The announcement was accompanied by a 30-second trailer in which a voiceover proclaims: “The time has come”.
Following the presentation, pre-orders for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth opened on Steam and the Epic Games Store with a 30 percent discount – (probably not for long) the game is available for purchase in the Russian segment of EGS (3,499 rubles).
Compared to the original PS5 release, the PC version of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will feature improved lighting, models and textures, DLSS support, and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support.
The Steam and EGS page also lists the system requirements for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (to play in 4K you need at least 12 GB of video memory):

They promise an unprecedentedly dramatic plot, improvements to familiar functions and 100 hours of gameplay. Russian language support is not declared. At the release of the PS5 version, critics highly rated the game – it has 92 out of 100% on Metacritic.
