It’s been over a year since Grand Theft Auto VI was announced, and Rockstar hasn’t shown a single new trailer since then. The last reliable event for players was The Game Awards, but they didn’t present a new video for the game either. At the same time, its release should take place in less than a year – the new product is promised to be released in the fall of 2025.
During an interview with the Conner Mather channel, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick described Grand Theft Auto VI in a nutshell. The presenter asked him to briefly share his thoughts about the game, understanding that the manager would not tell the details now. Zelnik stated that the game is unusual and worth the wait:
I think this (Grand Theft Auto VI) will be something different. And it’s worth the wait.
The presenter also asked Strauss what worries him most about the new part of Grand Theft Auto. He replied that he thought it would be an “immersive” gaming experience.
Previously, insider Jason Schreier said that it is highly likely that Grand Theft Auto VI will not be released in the fall of 2025. Despite the fact that this release window is now a target, Schreier believes that “the release will be delayed again because Rockstar games are always delayed”.
