Microsoft is done adding new games to Game Pass in 2024. The latest projects on the service are already available, and you shouldn’t expect new games in December.
But we already know about a significant number of games that will become part of the service in January 2025. This list includes several Day One releases, as well as games that were previously part of the subscription.

Carrion was previously released on Game Pass and was on the service for several years. This is a horror game where players take on the role of a monster. It has a score of 73 on Opencritic and “Very Positive” reviews from players who note that it has interesting mechanics.
Another game that was previously on Game Pass is Road 96. This is a narrative project about hitchhiking that has procedural generation. The game was previously praised by Phil Spencer for its setting and exploration.
Eternal Strands will be a Day One release on Game Pass. The project was created by former employees of Ubisoft and Bioware. It is a single-player, third-person action adventure, and its main feature is stated to be interaction with the environment and temperature during battles.
The next game in the Sniper Elite series is coming to Game Pass immediately after release. In Resistance, events take place in France. Critics noted in their previews that it has minimal differences from Sniper Elite 5.
A sci-fi text-based dice RPG that continues the story of the first game, released in 2022. At launch, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector will only have English localization.
