In the gaming industry, there is a separate award for the best horror games of the year – the Horror Game Awards as part of Fear Fest. Experts select the most distinguished projects of the genre in different categories, and this year Silent Hill 2 from Bloober Team took the maximum number of awards. The game is a console exclusive for Playstation 5, and its release on Xbox is not expected until autumn next year.
Among the distinguished horror games available on Xbox consoles, Still Wakes the Deep collected several awards. It was named the best horror film from an indie studio, and was also singled out for technical achievements. You can complete the project with a Game Pass subscription; an atmospheric black and white mode was recently added to it.
