The duo of Microids and the authors of Agatha Christie – Murder on the Orient Express from Microids Studio Lyon announced a game adaptation of another famous detective novel by writer Agatha Christie.

This time, the book “Death on the Nile”, the key work of Christie’s “Eastern cycle” with the participation of detective Hercule Poirot and Colonel Johnny Race, will have an interactive version. An announcement teaser trailer is attached.
The detective game Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile will allow you to take a fresh look at the famous story. The events moved to the 1970s, and Colonel Race was replaced by detective Jane Royce.
In the story, a peaceful cruise on the Nile is interrupted by a terrible crime, but fortunately Hercule Poirot is on board. Meanwhile, Jane Royce tracks down a killer whose tracks stretch from London to Egypt.
The two investigations intersect in Abu Simbel, where unlike characters have to solve a complex and full of surprises case that goes beyond the boundaries of the novel – the plot will continue after the end of the book.
They promise surprises for newcomers and fans of Agatha Christie, many stunning locations, more complex puzzles and more freedom during the investigation, a detailed mini-map and character dossiers.
The release of Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile is expected in 2025 on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch. Judging by the page on the Microids website, a text translation into Russian is being prepared for the game.
