The year 2024 is coming to an end, and the results of the best games of the outgoing year are being summed up. A lot of highly acclaimed games were released this year, but not all of them made it to Xbox consoles. However, on the contrary, there are exclusives of Microsoft consoles that have received high marks from players and critics.
On the game review aggregator Metacritic you can see the TOP of the most highly rated games for each platform. Projects are included in it only if they have received a sufficient number of reviews from critics on a specific platform for a rating to be formed.
The TOP 10 highest-rated games according to Metacritic for Xbox in 2024 are as follows:

- Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth (92)
- Metaphor: ReFantasia (92)
- Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance (92)
- Death Stranding: Director’s Cut (91)
- Tekken 8 (89)
- Destiny 2: The Final Shape (89)
- Neva (88)

- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (87)
Please note that not all games on this list are new releases. For example, Death Stranding was released 5 years ago, but only this year the game reached Microsoft consoles. Neon White was also released several years ago on other platforms, and only in July of this year it became available on Xbox Series X | S (and on Game Pass).
