In 2025, the cult open-world action role-playing game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will turn 10 years old, and the developers from the Polish studio CD Projekt Red are going to celebrate the anniversary in a big way.
CD Projekt Red on The Witcher website announced plans to celebrate the upcoming 10th anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with a series of music concerts featuring tunes from the game itself. The initiative was called the “Witcher Concert”.
According to CDPR, “The Witcher Concert” is “interweaving wonderful visuals from the game and music”written for her by composer Marcin Przybyłowicz.
Compositions from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt were specially reworked to be performed by a live orchestra and the Percival group, which, according to CDPR, should make the concert tour “a truly unforgettable experience”.
In May 2025, the first concerts will be held in Poland and the USA (Boston), after which the tour will begin: “The Witcher Concert” will arrive in European cities before the end of 2025, and in North America in the first quarter of 2026.
CD Projekt Red will soon announce specific dates and locations for concerts on The Witcher website. Those who subscribe to the newsletter are promised a special code that will allow “buy your tickets before everyone else at the exclusive pre-sale”.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is out on PC (Steam, EGS, GOG), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, S and Nintendo Switch. In May 2023, sales of the game reached 50 million copies, making it one of the most successful in history.
