Lyon studio Microids has announced a new game based on Agatha Christie’s detective stories, called Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile. In it, the developers promise to develop the ideas of the previous project – Agatha Christie – Murder on the Orient Express, which was released in 2023.
In Death on the Nile, a murder occurs on a cruise ship. The famous detective Hercule Poirot is on board. He will have to investigate this case, but not alone. As in the developers’ previous game, a second detective is introduced into the story – Jane Royce. Each of the characters will have their own view of what is happening and a separate storyline, brought together into a common exciting finale.
As you progress through the new detective game, you will visit different regions: from a Nile cruise to the streets of Mallorca, London and Cairo. The developers promise to surprise fans of Agatha Christie with an extended story, the events of which continue to unfold after the ending of the book.
According to the developers, in Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile they have increased the level of difficulty of the puzzles and offer players more freedom of action during the investigation.
Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile will be released on Xbox Series X | S, Playstation 5, Switch and PC in 2025.
