This is NOT the patch I was waiting for and I already have over 30 hours in the game. I’ll wait until the end of next year to finish the playthrough, but for now I’ll continue with Indiana Jones.

Has anyone noticed more stable performance after this patch? I didn’t expect the game to run at higher FPS, but frame lag now at least seems to be minimal?
Performance tests
Tests have appeared that show how STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl works after update 1.1.
According to tests, in the “Performance” mode the range of frame rate variations has become wider. If earlier FPS dropped to 40 and rose to 50, now during the test you can see that it reaches 55-57 frames per second in open spaces without NPCs, and drops to 35-39 frames in difficult moments. The resolution is the same: from 864p to 1152p with upscaling to 4K.
In quality mode, as previously there were no problems with FPS stability, there are none now. The game runs at 30 frames at 1440p when upscaled to 4K.
The game has one mode available – 1080p at 30 FPS with native resolution from 648p to 864p. It works stably as before.
Please note that update 1.1 for STALKER 2 caused some players on Xbox consoles to crash their saves.
