Gaming publications continue to sum up the results for 2024, and the British magazine with a 30-year history, EDGE, has published its results. They named the main game of the year, as well as the winners in various other categories.

- “Best Playstation Game” – Astro Bot. It beat out Helldivers 2 and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
- “Best Switch Game” – Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island. The project surpassed Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and Paper Mario: The thousand-year door.
- “Best PC Game” – UFO 50. The game was able to beat Frostpunk 2 and Tactical Breach Wizards.
