The holiday season is a great time to play through games that have been on Game Pass for a long time and may soon be removed. We already know about the games that will leave the Game Pass subscription at the end of December, but Microsoft will announce projects to be removed from the service at the beginning and end of January only 2 weeks before their actual exclusion. However, this time is not always enough, so every month we publish a list of games that have the highest chance of being removed for the next month.
Such lists are generated based on information about when the games were added. Most often, games are removed from Game Pass after a year, two, or multiples of a year from the moment they were added. Based on this, in January 2025, projects that were added to the service in January in 2024, 2023, 2022, and so on will most likely leave their subscription. There are exceptions, but they are quite rare.
Make sure the methodology is accurate
Below is a list of games that have the highest chance of being removed from Game Pass in January 2025:
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
- Brotato
- Death’s Door
- F1 23
- Figment: Journey into the Mind
- Go Mecha Ball
- Hell Let Loose
- Monster Hunter Rise
- Palworld
- Resident Evil 2
- Roboquest
- Super Mega Baseball 4
- Those Who Remain
- Turnip Boy Robs a Bank
Let us note once again that all of the listed games will definitely not be removed from the subscription. However, if you wanted to play or try out some of the projects on this list, you better hurry, as they may be removed from Game Pass as early as January 15th or January 31st.
