Bloober Team announced Cronos: The New Dawn at the Xbox show a few months ago. This is their new project, developed based on the original franchise. The game will take place in post-apocalyptic Poland in the 1980s. Players will find a twisted plot involving time travel. The developers presented several concept art of the game and accompanied them with their comments.
Below you can see the futuristic suit of the Traveler, which hides several useful options in case of danger, but the developers have not yet disclosed them.
Bloober Team studio created their first games in Krakow, and they decided to transfer some of the atmosphere of this Polish city into the game. The concept art below shows the game’s New Dawn area to be explored. The developers say that it is inspired by the XVIII district (Nowa Huta) in Krakow.
The creators of Cronos: The New Dawn recommend that players always be on guard, since enemies can often be undetected even when collecting resources. They presented art of one of the enemies, which was “born from the remnants of humanity.”
The game will feature a variety of strange technological artifacts and retro-futuristic technologies. The image below shows the Harvester, which allows players to travel through time.
