Let us remind you that Russian players started having problems logging into Escape from Tarkov last Friday, December 20th. In a message dated the 21st, Battlestate Games assured that the problems were not related to its infrastructure or servers.
Users quickly discovered that they could even access Escape from Tarkov using the IP address of any other country—in other words, the situation only affected Russia. The studio promised to look into it.

Apparently, Battlestate Games is not ready to fully fix the problems at this stage, but the studio is already starting testing “temporary solutions for players from the Russian Federation who are experiencing problems connecting to servers”.
Users affected by the troubles report in the comments to the Battlestate Games post that the temporary solution helped with connecting to the game, but among the responses there are also complaints about the continued inaccessibility.

As for the causes of the problems, users blame restrictive measures on the part of Roskomnadzor. The department did not specifically block Escape from Tarkov, but it probably caught it by accident.
The pre-release version of Escape from Tarkov is available on PC exclusively through the launcher from Battlestate Games. Since July 2017, closed beta testing has been underway, to which those who have pre-ordered are allowed.
