The open-world action role-playing game The Witcher 4 from CD Projekt Red will most likely not receive official Russian voice acting. What the dubbing of the game could sound like was demonstrated by the creative association Flarrow Films.
Flarrow Films is positioned as a professional dubbing and voice-over studio. The team works on films and TV series, but couldn’t pass up the cinematic trailer for The Witcher 4 from The Game Awards 2024.
Flarrow Films involved Andrei Grinevich, Alexander Novikov, Nana Sargsyan, Egor Vasiliev and Yulia Dovganishina to voice the video. Vasiliev is known for his role as V in Cyberpunk 2077, and Novikov played Krah an Craite in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The six-minute trailer for The Witcher 4 with Russian voice acting from Flarrow Films can be viewed in the player below (VK version). It is worth noting that the text spoken by the actors almost completely corresponds to the official subtitles.
Users in the comments to the video were delighted with the work of Flarrow Films and expressed hope to hear the Russian dubbing of The Witcher 4 on release (at least from this team).
“There are not enough words in the Russian language to express gratitude for such a New Year’s gift! You are the best! For me this is the official dubbing”,” shared user Iceglitch.
The Witcher 4 is being created on Unreal Engine 5 and has no release date. In the story, Ciri has passed the Trial of Herbs and is preparing to become a witcher – CDPR has already confirmed that in the new game the heroine will not be as strong as in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
