As promised, the ninth of 16 secret giveaways as part of the holiday sale launched on December 26th on the Epic Games Store. The new New Year’s gift turned out to be the cyberpunk slasher Ghostrunner 2.

The events of Ghostrunner 2 take place a year after the finale of the first part, which was distributed twice on the Epic Games Store over the past year – from December 31 to January 1 and from April 11 to 18.
In the story, the main character Jack travels beyond the Dharma Tower City to fight a cyberninja cult and determine the future of humanity. In the sequel, the hero got a motorcycle.
Ghostrunner 2 was released in October 2023 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The game earned high marks from critics (79-81% on Metacritic and 79% on OpenCritic) and “very positive” reviews on Steam (there the project’s rating is 81 %).
