As promised, the tenth of 16 secret giveaways as part of the holiday sale started on December 27 in the Epic Games Store. This time, the racing arcade Hot Wheels Unleashed has become temporarily free.

Hot Wheels Unleashed invites you to collect cars from the Hot Wheels universe (a line of toy car models), build your own tracks and participate in “breathtaking racing”.
They promise breathtaking races with mind-blowing turns and merciless gravity, split-screen mode and online multiplayer with support for 12 people.

Hot Wheels Unleashed was released in September 2021 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch. The game earned 72-78% on Metacritic and 81% from Steam users (“very positive” reviews).
Last spring, sales of Hot Wheels Unleashed reached 2 million copies, and its audience is 8 million people. The game earned itself a sequel – Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged was released last fall.

Due to the restrictions introduced, Hot Wheels Unleashed is not available in the Russian segment of the Epic Games Store, as is the promotion associated with it. The next secret distribution will begin on December 28 (19:00 Moscow time).
As part of the EGS holiday sale, they have already given away The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, Vampire Survivors, Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles, Wizard of Legend, “Legendary” account status in Dark and Darker, Dredge, Control and Ghostrunner 2.
