Five years after its release, the unusual archaeological adventure Heaven’s Vault from developers from the British studio Inkle (80 Days, Overboard, A Highland Song) seems to be getting ready for a sequel.
Let us remind you that in the plot of Heaven’s Vault, the linguist researcher Aliya goes on a journey along the cosmic rivers of the Nebula, in which she simultaneously translates/studies an ancient language.
It was with its help that the developers from Inkle decided to encrypt the recently published mysterious teaser related to Heaven’s Vault and promising a release of something in 2025. The full text of the message is attached below.
Fans on Steam, the Bluesky social network and the Reddit forum have already begun to decipher the teaser, but at the moment no one has been able to provide a reliably accurate translation of the message.
Based on fan observations, in the teaser the author (presumably Alia herself) talks about his experiences, the truth hidden in the ancient language and the search for truth, for which he has time.
Fans have not yet figured out exactly what message the encrypted message carries, but the most common opinion among the community is that the developers of Heaven’s Vault are hinting at a sequel.
Heaven’s Vault was released in April 2019 on PC (186 rubles during the Steam winter sale) and PS4, and in January 2021 it reached Nintendo Switch. Five years later, the game remains the largest and most comprehensive in Inkle history.
