It’s been over a year since the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI was released. It already has more than 230 million views on Youtube alone on the official Rockstar channel, while the real number is significantly higher. The other day there was an interesting discovery – the Chinese platform BiliBili allegedly posted the first GTA VI trailer with higher detail, without compression. It demonstrates that the expected project will be able to set a new standard of quality for games.
Since the higher-detail trailer was actually leaked rather than officially released, there’s a chance it’s fake. But the community of Grand Theft Auto fans who analyzed it agree that it is more likely to be real. Several analyzes of the new trailer have appeared online, where the authors pay attention to the smallest details:
- In the Youtube trailer, the hair is thinner and looks less detailed.
- The detailed trailer reveals more details on the characters’ faces.
- In the prison scene, you can see the hair on the main character’s arms.
- Reflections look more realistic.
- The texture of the skin looks significantly more refined.
- The waves on the water from the boat look more realistic.
- Details on the skin and faces of the characters are visible even from a distance.
One of the highly detailed breakdowns of the first Grand Theft Auto VI trailer can be seen below.
Earlier, the head of Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick, said that now players cannot even imagine the scale and quality of Grand Theft Auto VI.
