Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Anton Gorelkin shared his first impressions of MTS Fog Play — cloud gaming service and media console of the same name from MTS.
Let us remind you that the MTS Fog Play console was presented last week – the first batch was sold out in 14 hours. They promised a high-quality gaming experience with an Internet connection with a speed of 30 Mbps.
According to Gorelkin, who joined MTS Fog Play thanks to the fact that he gave the console to his son for the New Year, for a comfortable game you need “a very stable Internet channel, preferably 100 megabits”.
Gorelkin appreciated the cloud gaming service MTS Fog Play. It’s deployed “on Russian servers”offers “a huge catalog of a wide variety of games” (more than 10 thousand, according to the press release) and per-minute payment, which “quite convenient”.
Among those available in the catalog is the sensational historical action role-playing film “The Troubles,” but Gorelkin has personal disappointment associated with it: “It turned out to be impossible to play Troubles on the console, although it is available in the Fog Play online catalog”.
As for the prefix, then, according to Gorelkin, half of it is Russian, and “all hardware is made in China”. The deputy noted the gamepad, which “shimmers with all the colors of the rainbow and can replace a New Year’s garland”.
Meanwhile, the traditional Russian-made game console, which is being designed on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, will run on Elbrus processors and other domestic components.
