CD Projekt RED studio continues to share details about The Witcher 4. The game is in an early stage of development, and at the moment the Polish team is only talking about the rules that it outlined for itself during its production, without serious specifics. During the interview, game director Sebastian Kalemba said that in the new Witcher, the developers are striving to take NPCs to a new level.
According to Kalemba, CD Projekt RED wants to go deep into the story of every character players can meet in The Witcher 4:
We have a rule that every NPC in the game should look like they are alive and living their own story. We’re definitely improving the quality of NPCs in every way: the way they look, their behavior, their facial expressions. We do this as much as possible. Because we are committed to creating an even more immersive gaming experience than before. Our goal is to raise the bar as much as possible here.
Let us remember that earlier the developers spoke about the scale of The Witcher 4, as well as their desire to make the combat system in the game more complex and brutal.
