A small Polish studio, The End of the Sun Team, has announced the release date of The End of the Sun, a mystical adventure in the world of Slavic fantasy. The announcement was accompanied by a new gameplay trailer.
The events of The End of the Sun will unfold in the world of Slavic beliefs and legends. A small village becomes the center of mysterious events, during which the line between myth and reality becomes dangerously thin.
Players will take on the role of a sorcerer who has the ability to travel through time and has knowledge of the other world. The hero must reveal the secrets of a village caught between life and death.
Users will be able to move between four seasons located many years apart from each other to learn the story of the same characters at different stages of their lives.
They promise a fascinating non-linear narrative, the consequences of time management, the change of day and weather conditions, as well as the opportunity to get acquainted with the attributes of the life of the ancient Slavs.
As it became known, The End of the Sun will go on sale on January 29 of this year exclusively for PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store). The game will receive a text translation into Russian.
It is worth noting that The End of the Sun was presented back in mid-2018, and in the summer of 2020 it successfully went through a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter – the developers raised $18 thousand, although they asked for one and a half times less.
