Confrontations between hardcore RPG and “corporate product”which the director of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 anticipated, will not happen: Ubisoft announced another transfer of Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Let us remind you that Assassin’s Creed Shadows was supposed to be released on November 15, 2024, but due to the weaker start of the expected action movie Star Wars Outlaws, the release was postponed to February 14, and Steam was added to the list of target platforms.
As it became known, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is now scheduled for release on March 20, 2025. The extra month will allow the team to implement changes based on player feedback collected over the past three months.
“While we’ve already made significant progress, we still need a few more weeks to integrate these changes and create an even more ambitious and engaging launch experience.”said producer Marc-Alexis Côté.
As Ubisoft itself noted, the re-transfer of Assassin’s Creed Shadows was the result of the company’s recent increased attention to the quality and fun of the gameplay on release day.
According to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, the company “fully supports the teams in their quest to create the most ambitious Assassin’s Creed in the franchise”.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is being created for PC (Steam, Ubisoft Connect, EGS), Mac (App Store), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. It was previously reported that the future of Ubisoft depends on the success of the game.
