Publisher Square Enix presented a trailer of the technical features of the PC version of the large-scale role-playing game Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and also supplemented the system requirements of the project.
In a two-and-a-half-minute video recorded on PC, Square Enix showed what improvements users of the PC version of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth can expect compared to the original release.
Square Enix promises improved graphics (including lighting, models and textures), support for DLSS Smart Scaling (version not specified) and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR).
Also stated “numerous graphics settings”including a control for the number of NPCs on the screen and three presets (low, medium, high), support for keyboard and mouse, DualSense controller, 4K resolution and 120 fps.
As for the addition of system requirements, in addition to the minimum and recommended configurations announced at the announcement of the PC version, Square Enix recently revealed the “appetites” of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for playing in 4K.
The system requirements for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth to play in 4K are as follows:
Requirements “Ultra” (2160p, 60 fps, high graphics settings)
- OS: Windows 11 (64 bit);
- processor: Intel Core i7-10700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X;
- video card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX;
- video memory: from 16 GB for gaming on a 4K monitor;
- RAM: 16 GB;
- Disk space: 155 GB on SSD.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store on January 23, 2025. Despite the restrictions introduced, pre-ordering the game is still available in the Russian EGS segment (3,499 rubles).
