Studio KOTAKE CREATE and publishing house PLAYISM announced a release on Xbox Series X consoles | S games Exit 8. The project was not announced on the list of releases for Microsoft consoles this week, and its release came as a surprise.
Exit 8 was first released in November 2023 on PC, and in 2024 it first came to Switch, and then to Playstation consoles. At the same time, it is available on Playstation 4 and Playstation 5, while on Microsoft consoles it was released only for the current generation – Xbox Series X | S.
After its release, the game Exit 8 went viral among players and became a real hit. The developers previously reported that sales of the project exceeded 1.4 million copies.
Exit 8 is a classic walking simulator. In the game, the protagonist finds himself trapped in endless underground passages inspired by the Japanese transport system. The player’s task is to find “Exit 8”. Each session of the game will take up to 1 hour.
Exit 8 does not have Russian localization; the game is only available in English and Japanese. At the same time, it uses fairly simple English. Exit 8 price on Xbox Series X | S is $3.99 (from the Microsoft Store).
