This past Game Week, from January 4th to 11th, the Xbox team came out of the holidays and announced games for Game Pass for the first half of the month. Some of the projects have already been released, plus other news about subscriptions has appeared. All this in our weekly summary.
New games on Game Pass this week
Between January 4 and January 11, 5 games were added to the Game Pass subscription:
- Lightyear Frontier (Standard)
- My Time at Sandrock (Standard)
- Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders (Standard)
- Rolling Hills (Standard)
- Road 96 (Standard, Ultimate, PC)
Game Pass Ultimate subscribers received only 1 new game – Road 96, since all other projects were previously available in this tier.
It’s also worth saying that this week the 26th agent, Tejo, joined the list of fighters in Valorant. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers get access to new agents in the game as soon as they are released.
Announcements for Game Pass
If we exclude the games already released on Game Pass this week, the following were announced for release on the service:
- UFC 5 — 14 января (Xbox Series X | S)
- Diablo — January 14 (PC)
UFC 5 is joining Game Pass via EA Play. Accordingly, you can only play it at the Ultimate level.
Removal games
On January 16th, the following 6 games will be removed from Game Pass:
- Common’hood
- Escape Academy
- Exoprimal
- Figment: Journey into the Mind
- Insurgency: Sandstorm
- Those Who Remain
