Chieftec has long been known as a manufacturer of power supplies and housings, but recently it has been paying more attention to cooling systems. Initially, the company offered individual fans, including RGB-illumination models, and now switched to AIO systems. As if there is nothing surprising about this, there are almost everyone ready, but Chieftec has decided to approach the release of novelties quite seriously and offer their models with some features. What happened – we will try to find out.

Supply set
The cooling system is supplied in an oblong light box made of ordinary cardboard and color cover. It shows the device itself and its specifications.

To protect against damage during transportation AIO and accessories are placed in cardboard boxes and pressed paper.
But interesting – all the screws, racks and nuts are also folded in paper bags that we meet for the first time!
The cooling system is supported by all modern and not very platforms, starting with Intel LGA 1366 and AMD AM2 and ending with LGA 1851 and AM5. It is very good for the manufacturer who has just entered the ready -made SRO. Having pulled everything out of boxes and bags, we have the following:
- AIO with 360 mm radiator;
- three combined 120 mm fans;
- Intel LGA Intel LGA Connections 1851/1700/1200/115x/1366;
- four studs for Intel LGA 1851/1700 Intel connectors;
- four studs for Intel LGA 1200/115X/1366 Intel connectors;
- four studs for Intel LGA 2066 Intel connectors;
- four pins for AMD connectors;
- four silicone spacers for Intel connectors;
- two Intel connectors;
- two AMD connectors;
- four small screws for fastening the brackets to the water block;
- four sketch nuts for brackets;
- 12 long screws for fan fans to the radiator;
- 12 short screws for attaching the radiator to the PC housing;
- a tube of thermal can;
- instruction.

Appearance
Iceberg 360 has a rectangular design that is increasingly found in modern AIO. This style is very popular now, so Chieftec has made the right choice in its direction. The system is being dismantled, so the user will have to install fans yourself. Previously, it was a common occurrence, but now manufacturers are beginning to offer their products in a completely finished state, it is enough to screw the radiator to the PC housing.
The radiator has the usual sizes of 392x120x27 mm, that is, no increased thickness that would allow you to have an advantage over competitors. But still some feature he has.
And this form of slats – it is rectangular here, which, unlike the vast majority of radiators, in which the ribs have almost triangular shape, allows to increase the place of contact with the channels through which the refrigerant passes. By the way, channels here are 12 pieces, and the density of the plates is the same 19 FPI. This design feature of the radiator should increase the efficiency of the system as a whole.
The collectors here are also rectangular, 22 and 14 mm wide. Rubber hoses with a total length of 400 mm are covered with nylon braid and have a thickness of about 12 mm. In the connection with the collector, they are additionally fixed with metal sleeves. On the one hand, the collector has a hole for the system, but it is better not to touch the end of the warranty, which is three years.
In everything else, the externally radiator is not noticeable, you can only see the company’s name and the Chieftec logo near the main collector.
The pump here is mostly reminiscent of Chinese watering, which is common in available products. For fixing of the brackets, two ears with holes are provided in the housing, while in the waters of eminent brands, the bracket in the form of a frame is screwed directly to the body, which increases the rigidity of the entire structure. Waterway circular with a diameter of 67 mm and 51 mm high is made with the pump. It has a lid with RGB-illumination and the effect of an endless mirror that can be rotated around its axis. Fittings are rotated with an angle of 90 degrees, the connection points with hoses are additionally fixed with metal sleeves.
The copper sole with beveled corners has a size of 55×52 mm and is fixed with a star with an asterisk. It is grinded, but not to mirror shine. To protect the film, which must be removed before installing the water unit on the processor.

The waterboard is connected to the motherboard through two cables: one principal for power to power and control the pump, and the other, with a transit function, for ARGB.
The fans are supplied in the assembled state of three pieces, so the user will not have to be installed on the radiator and connected to the motherboard separately each of them.

120x120x25 mm size fans and TF-3012RGB have a black frame and a white translucent impeller. There are rubber dampers on the corners on each side, and plastic fasteners are used to connect the turntables. There are appropriate contact groups to power and control each side of the fans, only the first and last of them. The fixing mechanism keeps quite firmly, so there will be no problems with the installation of Carlson.
The connection to the motherboard is carried out only by two cables, one 4-pin for power supply and control by fans, and the other-for the ARGB illumination, which can be connected to the cable from the water. This solution allows to minimize the number of wires in the system and facilitate the process of assembling the PC. Of course, three fans on one cable can consume a lot of energy, while modern maternal boards are less likely to provide high load on one connector, but you should not worry, consumption of each of them is only 0.21 A.
The thickness of the design with the fans installed is approximately 52 mm, so there will be no compatibility with compatibility with housings with 360 mm radiators. We go to the installation and testing of AIO.
