IGN has released a 14-minute gameplay clip from Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, a first-person horror shooter set in the Hellraiser universe. In the film, protagonist Aidan explores an ominous mansion, battles a cult, and encounters a female monk.
In the story, Aidan attempts to save his beloved Sonny, whose soul is trapped in the Leviathan maze. To do this, he must unlock the capabilities of the Genesis configuration and interact with the monks. Moreover, the hero carries out their instructions, although in the future he will even have to face Pinhead himself.
During combat, players will be able to combine conventional weapons with configured demonic abilities. The developers promise to pit you against cultists, maniacs, and all manner of hellish creatures in a plot that combines elements of survival horror and dynamic shooters.
Clive Barker’s The Evil Dead: Resurgence will be released on October 8 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
