Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment has announced the latest sales figures for psychological thriller Alan Wake 2. The game was released in late 2023, and despite high reviews from critics and competition with Baldur’s Gate III, its audience has gradually grown.
According to the latest financial reports, Alan Wake 2’s sales exceeded 3 million copies in the second quarter of 2026. Remedy emphasizes that the bet on long-term sales has fully proven itself: the game has paid for production and is starting to generate a net profit for the studio.
Alan Wake 2 now sells about 1 million copies a year. Expect even more interest in the game in September with the release of Remedy’s next major game, Control Resonant, set in the same universe.
