Publisher Nexon shared the latest success of Embark Studios’ action shooter ARC Raiders in its second-quarter financial report. Since its release in late October 2025, the game has sold more than 16.3 million copies and generated more than $551 million in revenue. The $40 project managed to attract another 800,000 buyers over the past quarter, although the initial burst of sales has naturally slowed.
After a record-breaking start and exceeding 14 million copies in the first few months, the development team faced issues with online leaks and rethought its approach to post-launch support. The studio abandoned frequent small patches in favor of rare but truly significant content updates. The main bet for audiences to return will be Frozen’s biggest expansion set for release on October 8. In addition, the author has successfully conducted a closed beta in China with Tencent, while Embark Studios itself is already working on two new unannounced projects in parallel.
Have you played ARC Raiders? Will a major fall update rekindle your interest in the shooter?
