As a premium car brand with an apparently unclear positioning in the Russian domestic market beyond official and accompanying cars for senior government officials, Aurus is naturally going through, to put it mildly, far from the best of times. The official car market is saturated, and in the real civilian market no one spends that much money to buy domestically produced cars. However, the current situation does not prevent representatives of this truly premium brand from making plans for the future.

how Autonews.ru reports Referring to comments in the manufacturer’s press service, Aurus acknowledged the possibility of launching a redesigned premium crossover Komendant in the foreseeable future. However, the company’s focus at this stage is on preparing for mass production of the facelifted Aurus Senat sedan.
Please note that the Aurus Komendant is a direct “classmate” of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. And comes with a corresponding price tag. So far, the main market for these crossovers has been dedicated garages where they serve as escort vehicles in fleets. There are voices telling us loudly in our ears that the current situation will remain the same. Because these are realities that will take decades of hard work to change.
