Publisher Konami has lowered the price on the digital store for the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater game, which was released about a year ago, at the end of August 2025. This is a permanent new price, not a temporary promotion.
Right now, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is about 25% cheaper than its original price – both versions are $20 cheaper – on the Microsoft Store for Xbox and other stores:
- Standard Edition – $49.99 instead of $69.99.
- Deluxe Edition – $59.99 instead of $79.99.
Please note that within the Xbox ecosystem, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater supports Play Anywhere. This allows players to run a copy of the project just like on the Xbox Series X console | S and PC.
“Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater” is a modern version of “Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater”. The project received updated graphics, redesigned controls, and many graphical improvements. Xbox Series X Edition | S, especially the Series S variant, was criticized for technical issues upon launch. At the same time, the game’s first-day sales exceeded 1 million copies.
