This fall is a very busy season for video game manufacturers. This has less to do with the overall workload of the various releases in a given time period than with a particular release that everyone is afraid of falling into, like under a steam roller, which will leave them with no income. Although it’s rare for developers to officially announce that they’re delaying a game’s release so as not to create unnecessary competition for themselves, it does happen.
So the developers at the studio King Art, responsible for the strategy for Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War IV, decided not to play with fate anymore and just sneak around Delay Your project was released nearly three months ago – December 3rd this year.
The official reason for the delay was announced: The additional time will be used to identify and fix bugs, optimize the product, and make changes based on player feedback.
