Developers at Bethesda have announced that the next update for Fallout 4 will be released next week. It will be released on all platforms including Xbox on August 18th. At this time, Bethesda has not specified whether the update will result in changes to the game itself. In the announcement, they said the update will focus on overall improvements to the Creations system. Players are also advised to be prepared.
Before installing the patch, developers suggestion Users using heavy modding in Fallout 4 should launch the game and load a save if they haven’t done so in a long time. Or manually save the current mod loading order.
As a precaution, we recommend that players log into their save before updating (if they haven’t logged in in a while), or manually save their mod load order. By saving your download order, you will be able to download the full list of your modifications as soon as the update is released.
Let us remind you that after Fallout 4 patches, some third-party modifications often stop working and start to conflict with other add-ons, requiring modifications by the author. Changes to the Creations system itself may also cause previously configured builds to behave differently. Therefore, Bethesda recommends keeping the current boot order until you install the patch.
In May of this year, Fallout 4 received a long-awaited update on Xbox, expanding the mod repository.
