AOC has notified its distributors in China that it will increase prices for its entire range of monitors, effective August 1, 2026.
According to an official notice issued by Edmond Technology (Wuhan), which is responsible for AOC’s business in China, the reason for this decision is the rising cost of parts and raw materials. The company specifically cited increased costs for key components such as microcircuits and motherboards.
Main details:
- Scope: The price increase affects all AOC monitor models, including budget office solutions and the AGON series of gaming monitors.
- Reason: In addition to rising component prices, there is a reported shortage of panel production capacity, which is being diverted to the automotive market and the production of large commercial displays. The cost of driver ICs, power components and backlight modules also increases.
- Geography: Currently this only applies to the Chinese market. There is currently no information on similar measures being introduced in other regions.
- Price increase: Exact figures have not yet been revealed – the price increase will depend on the specific model.
