Cheap graphics cards could become more expensive in the second half of 2026

Buyers of budget graphics cards may find it harder to find affordable models in the second half of 2026. PC Partner (owner of ZOTAC, Inno3D and Manli) expects the supply of entry-level graphics cards to deteriorate further and attributes the situation to rising component costs.

Sales of the company’s own graphics cards fell 18.4% in the first half, despite an increase in average selling prices. These issues have the greatest impact on budget decisions, with increases in component costs having a more pronounced impact on final costs.

Rising prices for memory and other components have put additional pressure. Manufacturers and partners NVIDIA and AMD face rising costs, but the more expensive models have fared better so far: Their customers are less susceptible to price increases.

PC Partner expects the availability of entry-level graphics cards to continue to deteriorate. This can lead to a further increase in the cost of the most affordable solutions.
