Maximum read and write speeds are for 1, 2, and 4 TB capacity models. The 512 GB version offers sequential read speeds of up to 9900 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 5000 MB/s. The random read and write operation performance of the 2TB and 4TB models is 2.2/1.9 million and 2.0/1.9 million IOPS respectively, the figures for the 1TB model are 1.5/1.9 million IOPS, and the 512GB version is 900,000 and 1.2 million IOPS respectively.
The drive is equipped with SLC and HBM cache. The model shown uses a DRAM-less controller built on 6nm process technology and a power management system designed to reduce heat dissipation and prevent throttling.
The drive is backed by a five-year manufacturer’s warranty or 1.5 million hours of operation before failure. Declared resources are 3000 TBW (terabytes of covered information) for the 4 TB model, 750 TB and 1500 TBW for the 1 TB and 2 TB versions, and 350 TBW for the 512 GB model. For new products, proprietary DiskMaster software is provided to update, check drive status and protect data.
The manufacturer has not disclosed the cost of the offered SSD.
